December Blog Hop

Hope you all are enjoying the time that's left before Christmas. Buying presents, baking and everything else related to Christmas can be quite stressful for a lot of us so just remember to take the time out and enjoy the season every now and then.
We over at Mo's are having a Christmas related blog hop this month, how shocking is this? lol
I'm the hostess of this month's hop and I chose a "nontraditional Christmas colours" theme. It's ok to use the tradional colours but they can't take over the card;)
Not sure if that was the best theme, haha, since I was struggeling a lot with making something else than reds or blues but here's what I came up with.

I've used a very old image by Mo, called Jingle Bells. Your next stop is over at fabby Jane! Enjoy!

DT November blog hop

Hi! I'm back. Did you missed me? ;)
Have taken some time off to enjoy the pleasures of becoming a mom, again. We got a beautiful little boy on 10th Nov and he with his big sister are all what's on my mind right now ♥.

Although I don't have much time to spare for crafting right now, I still wanted to play along with dt this month.

The months theme is Make a Gift and was chosen by Lori who is our host this month, so if you want to see all the beautiful gift ideas, start with her blog.
I decided to try a corner bookmark. I have been thinking about making one for a long time now so this is my first one. Sometimes I like giving a good book as a gift and a little handmade bookmark would be a wonderful little extra to go with it.
This bookmark I'm showing today, is made for my daughter. So I have used a lot of stickles to make it really glittery as girls in her age like:)

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Kisses by Mo Manning
Papers: sorry, I have no idea. Used some scraps from my stash
Embellishments:half pearls, prima flowers
Tools: spellbinder die, Magnolia die, EK punch
Other: diamond stickles
Medium: copics
Colours: E00,01,11,40,41,43,44 ;R000,00,20,81,85;G82,85,94 ;BG78,75,72; T0,1; W0,1 and blender

Your next stop is with supertalented Jane! Enjoy and thanks for hoping along.

I promised to my daughter to show you some of the cards she has made. First one out is a birthday card to a boy, Odin!

Only things I helped her with was to cut out the details on Edwin and to cut out the "Happy Birthday" text so she could get the edges right. I think she made a fabolous work. I wish I could have been so creative when I was 6 years old ♥

We were wondering if there is any challenge blogs for children out there?

Post it easel card with Teddy Bo!

This weekend I have been making cards with my 6 years old daughter and it was a lot of fun.♥
It all started that we we're kinda bored of playing with the lego and I decided to surf around a bit. We found this site with the cutest bear digi stamps, Teddy Bo and had to purchase a couple of these. We printed them out and started colouring. After colouring we made some cards. I think we were making cards for 3 or 4 hours both Friday and Saturday, lol. But the bears were really cute so ;)

Over on their blog was a tutorial how to make a post it easel card. I never make anything else than usual cards ... it's not that I don't want to, it's just that all the scoring and stuff makes my head go around and I just find it a bit difficult :D
So anyway, I decided to try and ohh it was so much fun. Jill was really good in explaning how to do it and I like how mine turned out.
My very first post it easel card with my very first teddy. He is just adorable and was a bliss to colour.

Card Recipe:
Stamps: Teddy Bo - Teddybo 128, Making memories magnetic stamps
Papers: Papirdesign, October afternoon(?) and Bazill
Embellishments:Roses from WOC and half pearls from my stash

A girly birthdaycard

There's a lot of birthdays coming soon, so I need to get started on my cards.
The first on out is with a digistamp by Mo Manning and it's called baby fairy flora. She's just adorable and perfect for this card I made for a little girl.
I've used my nestabilities to cut out and around the image, my retro flower punches to make the flowers. I also used MS punch for the leaves and a lot of small pearls. Image is colored with copics and covered the wings with stickles. PP i used is my favorite right now and is made by Pion Design.
The tekst is on 3d pillows , it's in estonian and means Happy Birthday!
