Sunday randomness

So finally i found some time to make some christmas cards and to do some scrapping again.
I finished two cards and two pages
So here comes the first card:

I have used a lot of glitter from Doodlebug around the card and the image, so it is really "glittering" .
PP comes from 3ndy paper (norwegian), image is from Penny Black, coloured with promarkers and a bit distress ink, QK snowflake, Melissa Frances rub ons, Karen Foster's Scrappers floss

Other pictures will come tomorrow;)

Have a nice sunday everyone!

Jolly Old Santa

Ho Ho Ho here comes a new christmas card from me :)

I have used promarkers and distress refills to color the image.
Never used markers before but i liked it..so i think i have to buy some more colors :)

Weekend randomness...

So what you have been up to? Hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as i did. It was soooooo good to relax and do almost nothing...specially since i have been a bit ill these last days. Fever, sore throat and headaches again:S I think that not getting totally ok, before starting to work again as a lot to say here. I hate staying home and being sick so i don't do that very often*LOL*
I actually managed to make 2 LO's and 1 and a half card this weekend*smiling*
I will add these soon,i just have to finish the other half of the last card;)

Now i have to run and taste the apple pie which i took out of oven some minutes ago. Don't you just love warm apple pie with vanilla ice cream and a bit vanilla sauce?
MMMmmmmmm

Hugs,
Kerttu

Missed me?

No i'm not dead, just been very busy and the blogg isn't the first thing on my mind after a long and busy day. The only thing i think about then is tv and couch... and just being lazy
We had a lot of fun in Estonia:parties and spending time with friends, family evenings, good dinners, shopping etc. So we managed to do a lot on our time there. On the way back we visited Moominworld and we had so much fun in there. It was totally worth visiting. Victoria was a bit shy and afraid in the start but after a while she even gave them some hugs. So if you know who they are and you have children, you should visit it..well even if you don't have children and you like them ;)
I'm adding some photos of our vacation. I took A LOT of them, but i'm not going to add all, just a few and a photo i took of a swan... it hink she/he was so beautiful that i just have to show this one.

Home Sweet Home

Well we're back from our vacation and i'm not totally finished with unpacking and doing the laundry so i will not yet add any photos or write about the tings we did and saw, it has to wait until i have more time, but i just wanted to thank Noel for the adward i got from her. Thanks a bunch *hugs*

So here are the Award Rules:
1. The winner can take the logo
2. Place a link to the person that sent you the award
3. Give the Award to at least 7 other Scrapbooking-Blogs, which by its currency, the issues of choice and for their designs are especially noteworthy
4. Put a link to these sites on your Blog.
5. Write a comment on their Blogs that they’ve won an Award.

Well, giving the adward to at least 7 blogs will be difficult, since most of the blogs i vist have got it :S So i will just leave it open right now and surf some more on the internet to find some blogs who don't have it and definetly deserve it:)

my first art impressions card

Thought that it would be a fun card to give my aunt who has birthday in august. She's not that old, it's ment as a joke and luckily for me, she owns a sense of humor, so i don't think she will mind:)
Made a LO too, but since is raining outside and i'm not getting an ok pic of it inside, i will post the LO tomorrow ;)

Kung FU Panda

So we just came back from the cinema and watched Kung Fu Panda. I really wanted to see this and it was so much fun. Even if you don't have kids you will love it
I was excited to see how Victoria will hold out, since this was the first time for her to be in a cinema, but she was really great.
She sat quiet the whole time, ate popcorn and watched the movie.
We had a really good time and i will definitely buy this film on dvd, so that we can watch this once more, hihi

A christmas card

Yeah i know you think that it's too early for christmas cards? But well, i had this little guy coloured since last christmas and i really wanted to use him on a card so here's a simple christmas card:

Down the memory lane

Just wanted to share some photos of our last year holiday in Estonia:

happy sunday

three new cards from me with stamps from Magnolia, hÄnglar & stÄnglar, Melissa Frances and Stempelglede.

ESTONIA, here we come!!!

Finally we have managed to book the ferry tickets and in about two weeks i can see my friends and family ...yipppiii....  I miss them a lot so it will be so good to finally see them again.
Thank god for internet and MSN and that my mom learned how to use it, so that we can communicate as much as we do.
Calling almost every day would cost a fortune.
I also love those little chitchat's i have with my sis almost every evening...she always gets a smile on my face even when i have a lousy day. Thanks for this, Katrin..i love you a bunch

I thought that i would write more when i have free from work, but i have been home for a week now and no new posts. So boring am I.
The time is flying by and i'm in holiday mood now...it's SO hard to get up in the mornings, so i usally stay in bed looong.
That's how the days fly, doing stuff at home and other things that didn't got done while i was busy working.
I will try to add some fun photos from the passed week tomorrow, but in the mean time, you can look this this little goodiebag that i made for some of the grown ups in Victorias playschool as a little Have a nice summer gift, since we're taking a vacation soon
Hope they'll like it!

:)

I visited Sissel yesterday. It was a very cozy evening with chit-chat and scrapbooking. She finished 5 lo's while i managed to make 1.
Yeah i know, i'm a very slow scrapbooker *lol*
I used some of the stuff i ordered from noelmignon: thickers, Hambly's overlay and the rest of it was just something that i have had laying around for a while now.

5 weeks...

...till summer vacation and you can safely say that i'm not the only one counting the days
well dont have much more to say today...trying to enjoy the weekend now and hoping to forget the fact that next week will be all work again.
Wanted to share this photo of me and Victoria, which Are took with his cell phone...a crappy quality but i still love it

thanks a bunch...

Just a little card i made for a girl i know. I think she totally deserves it.
Thanks for being such a sweetheart

Can't say her name, 'cause she hasn't recieved it yet and i know she's reading my blog, every now and then.

summer lovin' challange

I have been scrapping again...finally i found time and mood for this. I just needed to get these new photos i took of them on the paper.
I think it turned out pretty cute. The PP and the rubons are from the threehouse kit which i ordered from noelmignon. I would have never ever bought this PP myself and when i got the kit, i just put this way back and though that i will never use a paper that looks like THAT

I have to admit that it was a really nice and fun paper to work with* i usually don't use paper with so large pattern*
Cleaning my craftroom I discovered that destroying the cartons that are just standing here after moving, i get something that i can use on LO's. I used pieces of these under my title and i just LOVE the effect the corrugated cardboard gave on my page. These are probrably not acid free, but ohh well, i couldn't resist how perfectly the matched my LO. And i can always scrap these photos again*lol*

You can click on the picture to get these a bit bigger

a warm sunny afternoon

We had a really nice and warm weather yesterday and we spent most of the day outside. Cleaning and fixing round the house, planting some flowers and well the best part of the day for Victoria was when she got to jump on her new trampoline...with her daddy...

Today it has been all cloudy and rainy and although as much i LOVE rain, it is good with some warmth and sunshine every now and then.

Well, Are wants to see an episode of LOST before we go to bed, so i'll end it here and go downstairs.

See ya
